Title: Beretta A400 Xplor 28 gauge turkey choke
Post by: PalmettoRon on June 09, 2021, 01:56:35 PM
I have a Briley XF, but wonder if anyone has used a different choke on this particular gun and gauge? It does not shoot point of aim, so gonna put a green dot on it and get it dialed in. As best as I could tell the Briley looked fairly decent.

I shoot the Briley XF in my Mossberg SA-28, shoots a great hunting pattern. If I were to try another choke it would be Indian Creek.

Thanks. I contacted Jebs and they are sending me a choke. They don't have 28's posted on their web site but have them. The .410 Jebs I have is excellent. I look forward to seeing if the Briley or Jebs patterns best.

28ga

Indian creek has 2 different sizes

Jebs has 2 different sizes

I went with Jebs Full, my bro a Briley full ported.

A400s, Rogue ammo broke a screw in one. Extremely high pressure for the 1 5/8oz load.

I have shot foxtrot cherry bombs in mine nice even pattern to POA using factory full, both full aftermarket chokes throw patterns 1ft below bead.

Any update on the Jebs for the A400 28?

I shoot the Briley XF in my A400 28 because it was all I could find 2 years ago. It puts up great numbers but always good to see other options.
