Excellent gun!!! I ran about 200 rounds of the cheapest 2 3/4 to 3 inch tss and it cycles and performs flawlessly!!! I have 4 Tristars and they are fantastic, also the best shooting guns I own. I found that the .555 Indian creek works perfect! Good luck

I have had a Tristar Raptor 20 gauge for 3 years now and I use Winchester LB #6's thur a Carlson LB .568 ported choke. It shoots even, well placed patterns out to 40 yards. Since a whole lot of holes in a target mean nothing to me, I haven't ever counted the # of shot in the 10 ring. But the Raptor has preformed flawlessly for 3 years now, no jams or hang-ups of any kind. I know some people have to carry more expensive guns and that's ok with me. But for everyday rough and tough hunting I couldn't ask any more from any gun than the Raptor has given me. For the money they are excellent turkey guns.

If it’s a 20 ga Carlsons in .568 it should be the Long Beard choke #70135 and its ported. I have one in a Browning A5. Link is below to the Carlsons web page.

I just shot a Raptor 20 gauge with a Carlson's Longbeard XR .568 choke shooting Winchester Longbeard # 5 shot, and it patterned great at 40 yards, which is about the maximum range I would want to shoot a turkey.  The Raptor functioned flawlessly and has had no hiccups with low brass field loads to high brass 3 inch loads.
