Snow finally melted to do some patterning.
Left- federal tss 3" #9, 40 yards
Middle- 3.5" hevi shot mag. Blend 5,6,7 40 yards
Right- 3.5" hevi shot mag blend 5,6,7 20 yards
I probably differ from lots of guys in here as I absolutely hate a baseball sized pattern at 20 yards. That's the reason for most of the turkeys I've missed. So I may very well hunt with the magnum blend because it's a little more open than most at close distances, but still produce well at 40

The 9's look good! And will probably have a better pattern at 20 then the Mag Blends.

Probably so. I only had a few and didn't want to shoot anymore than I had to for now. But I found some in stock so I may shoot one up close to see how it does.
