a guy I hunt with just picked up a Mossberg 500 20 ga. turkey gun we will be shoting tss #9 shot are Winchester long beards #6. what choke do u all think we should try?
carlson's makes a good inexpensive turkey choke that will not break the bank. Otherwise, get in touch with William at Sumtoy for a good choke also. These are for the tss9 . Don't know about the longbeards as I do not shoot them
Barrel length? Hard to beat a Carlson 575 with TSS in most cases.
My Mossy 500 with its 22" barrel preferred the IC .555 over the IC .562 for TSS #9s.
Trulock or Sumtoy

Yup Indian Creek all the way.
I do have a Carlson choke for my 500, but I bought an Indian Creek for my 835 and Stoeger M3020
Love my IC chokes

Good advice right here!
I shoot longbeard #6 when I am hunting woods 30 yards and under.
With my SumToy .562, I get 167 pellets in the 10" circle at 30 yards.
With federal tss 9's, I get around 230 in the 10" circle at 40 yards.
