Took the girls after school to where I was watching two longbeards this morning. Knew they would not be far from where I left them at 0800. Setting in the rain the girls wanted to go home, I told them just ten more min. Some light calling was all it took. Three hens came to the call with a longbeard in tow. I told her to get ready when he was at 38 steps. The safe went click and up went his head. I whispered to her " kill him" and that she did at 5:30 Her first gobbler and it was a keeper. And another one is hooked......
To say I am proud would be an understatement.

That's great. Congrats to you guys. He's a good one.
Congrats!!!
Nice job on a nice gobbler anyone would be proud of. Those look like Pennsylvania woods?
Yes sir it is in PA. This year the last 2 weeks of the season we can hunt all day. Last night Miss Fullfan's older brother crushed a gobbler at 5:30 also. I kind of enjoy not getting up at 0400.
