On vacation at the beach with my wife and her family. Fell asleep on the couch and got woken up at 1 o'clock this morning hearing my wife's sister asking for someone to call 911. Turns out, my father-in-law was unresponsive and not breathing. He didn't make it. He was a great man. Helped me out plenty over the years, even when the help wasn't deserved. I'm typing this as I lay in bed trying to get my girls back to sleep. I've got no clue what to tell them when the morning light comes and they realize things aren't right. Just please, if you're a God fearing man, say a prayer for her family. My wife just lost her grandmother a couple months ago and that funeral was postponed until this coming Wednesday due to COVID. And now they've got this on top of it. Much appreciated and no need to respond to this. Just throw some words out into the atmosphere if you're willing

I will say some prayers for your family, I lost my mom to cancer last year, things are still not right. So I feel for your family.

Thanks to all. 7 y/o is doing ok. Doesn't fully understand at this age. 10 y/o not doing so hot. He momma and sisters are a wreck. Understandably so. Kinda caught everyone off guard. We (brother-in-law and I) literally just had him on a chartered fishing trip. Fish weren't cooperating like last year so I was a touch bummed. He didn't seem to mind though. Was happy to be there. I'm glad we (the 3 of us) were all able to be there again. Like I said, he was a great guy. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200706/df9236b4078931fedce24f06965f4d71.jpg)

Thanks again fellas. Service tomorrow. I'm heading back up there as soon as I get these last two jobs wrapped up today. Everyone seems to be doing a little better at the moment. Still coming in waves at times but they're doing what they can. Lots of people stepping up to help with things at the moment. Didn't realize the lives that man touched until now. Shame. Honest shame.
