The current Covid conditions have been terrible for those who's health is affected, and I fear we haven't seen all the repercussions on the economy. One thing I am hearing from many of my friends, however, is they are having more quality family time than ever before. My 16 yr old son has been hunting with me for several years, which has been great. My 14 year old superstar athlete daughter, however, has never been able to join me due to her sports schedule. Those were canceled this spring, so she joined me turkey hunting for the first time. Here in MN us adults have a limited time period. I alternated days between both of my kids each day in my season. I had great quality time with my daughter and she LOVED hunting! We didn't bring a bird home, but had several experiences that were close. I have moments and memories I wouldn't have had if it weren't for everything being shut down. A positive ray of light in an otherwise bleak time period. I hope others of you are having chances to reconnect as well!
Quality time with family, nothing better!
Wish more of my family hunted!

I agree. With my kids home it's given us alot more family time. I enjoy and cherish all the extra time we have together.
Other than that its the only positive i can think of. I hope this exits soon and we never see it or anything like it again.
Amen
My daughter has killed two in two year's, She is hooked and i'm glad.
I got to take my grandson several times this season instead of the one or two we can sometimes work around his school and sports schedule. He is hopelessly addicted to turkey hunting now. We didn't connect but he missed one and we had several close calls.
Probably won't get to hunt that much with him until he's out of school...and I may be too old by then!
Agreed. And also, is it me, or does the air seem cleaner?
Great job finding the positive.
