Went to a public piece of property this morning. Where I killed my first bird with a bow back in 1999. Haven't hunted it in years the place gets a ton of hunting pressure.
Pulled into the parking lot about 45 minutes before sunrise. As soon as I opened the door I heard a bird gobbling. Sneaked within 200yrds of him. He gobbled nonstop on the limb. But once he hit the ground he went quiet.
Pulled out my slate call and he couldn't resist it. Only took him a couple minutes to get to the decoys ended up shooting him at 20yrds at 6:07.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200516/29697796481d0508519ac70b1c5d5a89.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200516/c53919c233b03cf045d465df6426a48a.jpg)
