Hit the woods in Wisconsin this morning with Tom Dunn (aka mnturkey) and his brother Tim Dunn. Tom hunted a few hundred yards from us and passed on a nice bearded hen and Tim was able to connect on a really nice bird, his very first turkey I might add, and it had three beards (1/16", 3.75" and 9.5"), 1" spurs and weighed 18 lbs. We were allowed to hunt at Potter's Swamp in Pepin, WI. By pure coincidence, "MN Bound" is airing an episode tonight about Potter's Swamp on NBC channel KARE 11 here in the Twin Cities or at this link: http://blip.tv/muddy-boot-productions-llc/minnesota-bound-potter-s-swamp-youth-turkey-hunt-5169008

I want to thank Shane for a great hunt, I was thrilled when I heard the boom of the shotgun knowing my brother had shot a bird, the about 10 minutes from the time of the shotgun report I get a text from Shane asking if I shot and I thought maybe somebody was hunting there also and sent the text back "NO" he then sent back that my brother got one laughing.
Shane is a great man to hunt with.
Thanks again Shane.
Nice job gentlemen!!!
Shane is a class act all the way, hope to hunt with him at some point!

Thanks Dave and welcome to the OG! You should post an introduction so everyone else can welcome you to the forum. :welcomeOG:
