Title: Help on posting pictures
Post by: GobblerReaper on May 08, 2020, 04:00:18 PM
I cannot post pictures due to them being larger then allowed. Any advise on making them smaller so I can post pics?

Thanks

If your sending from phone , when I hit send for picture selected this pops up , if yours does this hit the very bottom one and it should work.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200508/48dfb589881dae45d4eb31432052d1a1.jpg)

If you took the pictures with your cell phone, you can email them to yourself then open them up in your email folders, when you send them click on the medium size and that will make them small enough to load on to the forum's website.

I use Imgur when posting from a desktop computer and embed them right into the post.  Make sure you select "huge thumbnail" before posting or else it will still be quite large.

I used to use imgur like mentioned above but it appeared to get quite confusing over the last few months. I now use imgbb.com . When you click on your pics you can choose "full size, large, medium, small. I always just choose medium for this forum. Then post the "img links"

On my Mac, I open the images with the Preview app and under Tools, use the Adjust Size menu. 720 pixels in width, or 540 pixels in height work well on here.  Might want to make a copy of the image first so you don't resize the original.
