How many people still hunt with a double slate and which one

I have a cedar double slate from Paul Hicks that is fantastic
Love a double slate. I just made a double slate in Peruvian walnut that will be in my vest. Also a big fan of a sassafras double slate.

I love a double slate. I have several of footballers.
Persimmon sassafras,pecan,walnut and white oak off the top of my head. They have that nasally hen sound that I love.

Walnut slate/slate I just finished up that I really like. Plan on making a few more this weekend. Dymondwood is what I like on them

I have a Mabry double slate in walnut that I have hunted the last two years and it is great for soft calling or cranking out the yelps. I just personally prefer slate for hunting.
