Just put my two tags on some pine ridge merriams in Nebraska, and now I'm in the black hills of south Dakota to fill that tag I hope in the morning! These hills is tough on a fat flatlander!

Congrats! Pine Ridge is one of my favorite places to hunt. I believe Hootn is there right now, and I plan to be there in two weeks to close out the season.

If I could move to that region, SD/NE/WY, I'd probably forsake these mountains for the turkey opportunities in those three states.
