If I would have known they were Jake's a bit earlier I would have got my phone out quicker and caught the hen (upper left, leaving) thrashing my decoy while aggressive purring and strutting. She knocked it off the stake, then just walked away.

Sounds like a real neat occurrence, we start here Saturday in Pennsylvania, so getting excited.

I'm hoping we don't loose a bunch of birds down my way before next year. I'm tired of looking at jakes, so maybe I'll have a pile of 2 yo birds to whack next season.
