Well my season ends with a big fat zero and a a tag sandwich. However the good Lord blessed me with several fun hunts. I saw many hens and jakes this year. My choice was to pass on the jakes. I killed to coyotes that tried to eat my decoys. I only heard just a few gobbles this year and only saw 2 toms, and they stalled out on me at 75 yds. I am blessed with new learning experiences and enjoyed my season very much even though I didnt take a bird. Tomorrow is church in the morning and God comes first, then the rest of the day is mine. I may or may not go turkey hunting but am content with my choice. Turkey hunting is still very new in Indiana and the turkey population is growing every year. We are seeing more and more birds. Scouting is almost immpossible with my job and my other hobbies. Old gobbler is one of my favorite hobbies. lol... Good luck to everyone who is still at it and God bless.

Our season here in WY closes on May 20th. Sounds like you had a good season.
I too have an unfilled IN tag. I was only able to hunt your great state four days and worked birds all __ but one, so it wasn't the birds fault. Sure wish it was on for a couple more days!
My season here in Indiana sounds like yours selinoid :(
I KNOW there are birds in this area but all I've seen are jakes and hens as well. I have heard one gobbler going to town on the roost (on the adjoining property of course) so when he flies down I never hear from him or see him again. It's really frustrating to me to know they are out there and I feel like the toms just ignore me! I don't even know how many times I've been out making calls (my calling is not perfect but it's improved a LOT from last year) and never even had a response from a tom. Today's the last day so I hope you get you a monster and I'm killing anything I see today whether it be a jake or tom.
