Title: Dead mount
Post by: TRKYHTR on May 13, 2011, 06:01:01 PM
I've been working on my dead mount for the last 3 days. There are a few different problems you run into when mounting a turkey that hangs upside down. Feathers seem to want to gravitate towards the floor. I still have a few things to do and some drying time but other than that I'm done. What do you think?

Mountman62 I am done. My last hunt was in NE. No other hunting seasons open around me. Wish I could go to WY and try to fill my WY tag I bought. I never got a chance to use it. Thanks for asking.

Great looking mount shows off all those beautiful colors, only problem is will you be able to see the spurs and beard without  having to stretch for different angles while viewing the mount? Either way it is a beatiful bird!
