Title: Franchi affinity and tss?
Post by: turkeyhunter91 on April 15, 2020, 09:06:18 PM
I have read where alot of people are having trouble getting fed tss to cycle through a franchi affinity. I picked up a box of fed tss 9s today and shot 1 to pattern before i shot I loaded another in the magazine to test and it reloaded like it should when I shot. So I tried a couple more times with other shells and it still reloaded the tss. My question is the people that are having trouble with them, are the cycling ok some times or not at all? I shot at 42 yards and it put 160 pellets in a paper plate with a Carlson 575 choke. Thanks

I just ran some of the old fed tss low recoil 1,000fps and it cycles everything fine. The old tss are roll crimped too so I don't see how they'd be any different. I shot it twice putting one in magazine just to see and no issues. Maybe we got lucky? Are the new 1200fps tss a tad longer?
