Title: Vortex venom zero
Post by: Southernson13 on April 15, 2020, 06:14:46 PM
I put a new venom on my 835 this year. Beginning of the season it was dialed in to a T. Missed a bird this past friday and thought nothing about it due to external circumstances. Shot it today just for s**ts and giggles and it was shooting high by a foot and a half. The gun has been dropped a couple times since season started due to normal slips in the woods but nothing hard enough to actually damage the sight. Has anyone experienced zero shift from impact before or do I likely have a faulty sight?

I even never had an issue with either of mine, 3rd or 4th year now.  If you think it's the sight send it back after season, they have a no hassle guarantee.   Just curious, what shells are you shooting?

I've heard of a lot of people complaining about the poi not holding true from shell to shell with the lb's.   May or may not be the problem but worth checking out.  Good luck.
