Unfortunately, Florida was not on my agenda for this spring. Which is too bad because it is one of my favorite places to hunt. Bonce and his father Allan made it down and had a pretty exciting couple of days.

Thanks for sharing Derek keep them coming and congrats to bonce
Thanks for posting. Fl south zone will end tomorrow. From what I've seen, in person and on our game cams, the north zone birds are entering that strut zone to strut zone phase. Very few hens on camera but a gobbler can show up anytime of the day. Can be fun if you can stick it out. Good luck.
Great videos, Florida owed Bonce a bird. What was the final decision on 1st bird? Eastern or hybrid?
Fantastic

Osceola in my book based on where he was. Clearly the line is a little muddy and some may disagree but he's a good bit down.

You can kill a south florida bird with plain ole barred wings just like an eastern and you can kill a broken barred black wing bird in south Georgia. a florida turkey is a florida turkey....its just a bonus when they happen to look they we want them to. Not to say there isn't more black wings down south ....but its not an absolute reguardless of which side of the line your on
Thanks for sharing the stories ..
