They are hosing all of us, and laughing behind closed doors. So it hits$4 or more then it drops .50, big deal now it's $4.50, and we are suppose to be happy? We fight wars, feed and rebuild other countries, but we stand alone and struggle and eat ramen noodles to get by.

I know that none of us are actually surprised by the fact that a politician says what is convenient for him/her depending on the crowd that they are presently in front of. For the life of me I can't understand why they don't capitalize on the oil reserves we have available, the oil shale, etc. that have been determined to be usable. It sure seems to support conspiracy theorists that say this is being done as a way to further control the people of this nation.
It's amazing how many of us "common" folks recognize this, but it doesn't seem to register with the residents of Washington D.C. - the ones that can do something about it.
I have written both of my senators. The republican has responded with a personal email siding with Americans who are fed up. The democrat? Haven't heard back from him... big surprise.
