So I shot him.

Came in through the timber later in the afternoon. Spitting and drumming all the way. Just threw out the occasional Yelp every 15-20 minutes and after awhile I heard or felt Duuuooommm. Got my gun pointed that direction and 10 minutes later he gave me the shot. Only gobbled when he was inside 75 yards and that's when I yelped just to get a bearing on his exact direction.

:) :) Yeah, Sam, I hate those spitters, too. ...But if they are doing a little drumming along with it....

If he is coming in like that he can spit and sputter on me the whole time, congratulations GB on a pretty bird.
