With some reservations I went to a 410 this year. I shoot most turkeys at around 20-25 yards so I figured it wouldn't be much of an issue. The Foxtrot 383 Strokers have performed very well on turkeys. This morning I had the chance to up the challenge for the Strokers. I must say I'm beyond surprised at what the outcome was. Just a few short years ago you would have never convinced me that you could cleanly kill a good size hog at 20-25 yards with one shot of 9 1/2's, especially out of a 410. But I can't deny what I witnessed.

Sweet!!
Awesome! I had an old full choke single barrel .410 laying around, I shot it at 25 yards with an 1 1/16 oz 7.5, and to say it patterned poorly would be an understatement!
If it can kill a hog at 25 yards, imagine how far out it could kill a gobbler!

just Curious but that was a head shot, haven't ever killed a wild pig before. Have witnessed domestic pigs being killed with a 22lr pistol with head shots.
Yes, almost a straight on head shot. I videoed the shot with my cell phone the best I could. If you would like to see his reaction pm me your cell number And I'll text it to you.
I have the same gun camo and all
