Title: Holly springs NF pm
Post by: RiverRoost on April 02, 2020, 04:12:40 PM
got family with a little private land in Waterford ms that butts up to holly springs NF. Going to stay with them and hunt this weekend. NOT ASKINNG FOR LOCATIONS OR HUNTING SPOTS!!! Anybody willing to pm me about gobbling report or any info for the area. He says they have birds on them but I don't like bumming birds and don't particularly want to kill off of them.

Hunting pressure is about 2-3x normal and it is normally HIGH! Good luck.

Pick a spot and get there early. Lots of hunting pressure right now but the birds are there. Gobbling activity has been hit or miss lately.

Would agree with the other two posts. I have never experienced this many hunters in the woods. As they said be there early. Good luck.

They don't care if you beat them to a spot. They'll just pull in anyway

Thanks guys. Looks like I'm going to have some decent access getting into the Forrest off the main roads

And jump out of their truck at a dead run to get past you.
