I think i'm the only one on this team west of the mississippi!!! :P ;D
Well, you are correct!
And yet we accept you! How weird is that?
I predict that the heaviest bird shot this year by a team member will fall in front of jakesdad's 20 gauge. Not too bad for an outsider, huh? :groupwave:

Dang, I would feel awful about having to hunt in MO too...:goofball:.

No a bad thing. Means you will probably shoot a Turkey bigger than a small Jake like the Southern Toms. ;D
I may shoot the heaviest..............if I can find one.Probably wont be that bad,but the last few springs have been REALLY bad on the hatches in MO,especially in the NE part of the state where I live. But I guess I shouldnt complain, our lean years are probably better than some states peak ones.Would be nice to shoot more than 2 birds like some of southern boys get to do!!

I hear ya on the tags. I hunt Kansas and Iowa for a total of 4 tags, while in Alabama they get 5. However, I don't think our states in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa could handle an Alabama quota. Maybe 3, but not 5.

We may have a 5 bird limit, but I on average kill 1 or 2 a year. I have to hunt public land mostly, so that makes it tough.

Shane,
I'm right there in the same boat with ya buddy. Alabama public land turkeys...been told they're as tough as it gets.

I don't think there could be anything tougher. All the WMA's I hunt get hammered every day of the week.
