Title: Georgia birds!
Post by: Bustabeak on March 27, 2020, 06:04:03 AM
I was able to take these two birds this morning here in Georgia. Shot them with the franchi affinity 3 20 gauge with Hal's Big 20XL #9's
I have never had 4 toms come in to one of my set ups. As they were coming across the field I saw one strutter. So I figured he was with a couple Jakes. As they got closer I realized all 4 were gobblers! What a great morning!(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200327/9e2d360e0683e1b34c2179e741c0fe17.jpg)

Awesome man, sounds like a great morning. I'm also in Georgia, been hunting hard but haven't connected yet. Been battling it out with the hens.

In Georgia too. I`d just like an opportunity to get out and fight with hens, much less get a shot! Damned virus has got me isolated from where we hunt!

I hate that for you man. Any nearby wmas that are open, or maybe some private deer leases where guys would let you hunt?
