Rut I left him alone, had like 14 rattlers, one that big could be 70 to 80 years old, a preacher buddy of mine ask if I killed him and I said doesn't the Bible say to only kill for food.

Yep, he could ruin somebody's day.   I don't kill them unless they are in my yard.

That's a full grown one for sure , no sense in killing one unless he's around the house or barn etc .

That one has been around a minute or two! They're one of the prettiest snakes out there imo. As a youngster I was taught to kill every venomous snake I saw and up until a few years ago I did. I've let some slide the past few years but will still kill one if it's close to the camp or house.

You just keep them suckers down there buddy.  I appreciate all of God's creation and never cease to be in awe of all He has made, but I swat every mosquito I can, kill every wasp I can, and well, I cant say I would've let them go.  I figure its them or me!
