Title: Permar Jordan Yelper?
Post by: StruttinGobbler3 on March 23, 2020, 02:41:18 PM
Just curious, anybody use one of Ralph Permars Jordan yelpers? The one that's 55 bucks. I'm considering trying one out to see how I like it. Is there much difference in a Jordan yelper and the more traditional trumpets? Thanks.

Not really any difference in the way you play them. Maybe a small difference in the way you hold them. I
The call you are asking about would make a great call to start with.

Thanks for the info. I started hunting with trumpets a few years ago, but never used a Jordan yelper

I have just began using trumpets the last couple of years and am not real good so that is my disclaimer.
I have one of Mr. Ralph's .45's and a Jordan Yelper. The Jordan plays just like any other suction call but it is much smaller than your your "normal" trumpet. ie Billy Buice, Permar, etc..   I really like mine as it is small enough I put it in my Bino harness and don't have to really "keep up with it" when not in use.
