Does anyone have any experience using a fastfire 2 out of a ground blind. I really like the auto brightness feature and the simplicity associated with it for my younger daughter and me aging father. I was wondering if shooting out of a "dark" ground blind into the bright sun would be a problem with the auto brightness? Any experience with this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
When my son hunts with me we hunt out of a ground blind and he hasn't had any problems.
Biggest thing to remember is make sure the barrel of the gun is out the window or above it so you don't shoot your blind up.Lol..
My son learned that lesson once... :angry9:
It senses light from the front, so it will still be bright. I actually cover my sensors partially with a small strip of electrical tape to dim the dot a bit for better precision. You can slide the tape a hair for manual brightness adjustment.
good to hear that the auto brightness shouldn't be a problem out of a ground blind. thanks for the help.
