Title: Alabama WMA
Post by: kytrkyhntr on March 19, 2020, 11:55:37 PM
Any word on closing of Alabama wma or national Forrest? Bout a 5-6 hour drive for me, planning on coming down in the next week or so, would hate to get down there and it goes in lockdown mode. Many in my neck of the woods seem to think states are about to close borders and shut down public lands. Could ruin some turkey seasons. All speculation of course. Was just wondering if any of you Alabama guys had heard their situation?

I'm wondering the same thing for Georgia and Mississippi public lands

I would guess that Mississippi would be the last state to shorten it to give everybody a chance to kill all the turkeys they want. We are on an eradication plan so we can re-stock, lol
