Coronavirus will not effect my season, Tennessee has already said they are not shutting down any outdoor activities on state land and I was a "social distancer" before it was cool.
As of now the virus will not affect my season here in ID. If it does between now and April 15th I guess I will be going to Costco or Walmart to find me a nice butterball. Thanks for the opportunity and good luck this season.

Locally I'll be unaffected, but my NM trip in mid April is all but canceled. I'm guessing I'll be rescheduling for 2021!!!
Coronavirus will not affect my season here in Kentucky unless the government does something stupid like closing our public hunting grounds, since this is where i hunt 99% of the time. Hopefully it doesn't affect my Missouri trip either.
Will not affect my season. I normally hunt alone and being outside is good medicine.
It might. ...Got two potential reservation hunts that I suspect may be cancelled, but I am hoping not. Other than that, I think my other plans will hold. However, if any of the planned hunts fall through, I will be looking at replacement alternatives.
As of right now in will not effect our season but, we still have almost two weeks until it opens, so you never know for sure until the fat lady sings.
It will not affect my hunts in Wisconsin with sons, brothers and friends. I've had one scheduled youth hunt canc.
Not one bit.
So far so good in Georgia
I dont believe it will affect my season, social distancing is regularly practiced by hunters.
It is affecting me if I like it to or not some good most bad. I'm in Hawaii will start hunting today have gun registration at 8:15 AM. Hawaii is starting to shut down also and close. Went to Costco yesterday to by water and supplies and a line going in 50-100 people long to get in, I went to different little store paid full price. But some of what I lost there got back because Hawaii game department are waving the the turkey carcass tag fee. They don't want people in there building also. When I get back I will hunt anywhere that isn't closed. Wait every year for turkey hunting, and now retired and time to do it I will be doing something.

The only way it will affect my season is if my department (first responder), goes to A/B shifts and cancels my vacations.
Thanks for doing this.
As far as hunting in my home state, I don't believe anything will change. I don't believe our governor will jump off the deep end and be a TOTAL control freak, as some have done. I do have a week planned, to drive to another state, that maybe impacted. This trip isn't until the end of April, so time will tell.
Cardiac ICU nurse. Season is unpredictable right now! Any time I'll get to chase turkey will be greatly appreciated! Good luck to everyone! Thanks Gooserbat!
Coronavirus will not effect my season this year.
It will not affect mine as long as my public land WMA doesn't shut down. It opens in two days so its looking good so far. Saw a strutter this morning so I know where I'll be sitting come Saturday.
I do not anticipate it affecting me, as long as I can get food and fuel I am not changing any plans!
Looks like it could affect my season in Illinois.
Don't think it will affect my season at all.
Don't think it will affect my season. Might just have a little more time off than I thought!

I will be able to hunt more, as my college moved online for the rest of the semester.
It shouldn't affect my season. I have some trips planned but they're both in state trips. Only way it might is if Oklahoma closes state lands off. I've never been anything like an outlaw, but that would get me the closest i've ever been. Might just have to go anyway.
Thanks for the opportunity
Should not affect my season at all. Lord willing.
It will only affect my season if the government institutes an interstate travel ban.
As long as my family is not sick and the places are open I will be moving right along.
It should not effect mine negatively. It actually might afford me a little more time in the woods. I heard 5 this morning. Can't wait.

I am fortunate enough to be able to walk out my door and turkey hunt so no it will not affect me in my home state, however, I am planning to hunt Ky mid April and Me in June and praying that this does not take a toll on my fellow Americans.
I'm looking forward to this season, maybe we'll get a break from all the commotion that's a part of our daily lives. It'll be a blessing to get in the woods and just enjoy what God has made, and has giving me the opportunity to enjoy it with my son.
Yep, already affecting my turkey season. My wife and I both drew a 1st season tag for a Special Hunt Area on Illinois here. Good ol JB " Sure, I'll buy your Senate seat vacated by Obama " Pritzker shut it down.
It won't affect my season in my home state of Ohio, because I walk out my door on my own land. My out-of-state hunt maybe. It might affect me if I win and you give me coronavirus.....that is what your thread titles says, " Gooserbat coronavirus giveaway" , why are you giving someone the virus? :TooFunny:
Season opens in a little over a week and only hunt local so I do not foresee the virus having any effect. The public land that I hunt have never seen another hunter and since the bridge is out and it is a long way around to the entrance probably will not see anyone this year.
It's still up in the air, while state workers get sent home, I fear public will be closed soon.
As of now no it will not, my season does not start until May 1 so I am hoping nothing changes. I hunt private property so I am not worried about state or federal lands being closed so that is a plus.
As of right now, my trips are still on and should not be affected.
As of now , it's all a wait and see, what will happen. Prayers for everyone regardless if i get to hunt or not ..
If my flight is cancelled, my Wyoming trip is not happening.
Shouldn't slow me down too much in my home state of SC. Plenty of land I can hunt within walking distance of my house is absolute worse case.
Now my May season could possibly be up in the air depending on how things shake out.
The only way it will affect my season is if they ban interstate travel. Other than that, it will actually give me more time in the woods, as all my classes have been moved online.
It will affect my season... I will be less likely to hunt with others (especially someone that was going to visit from out of the area).
No way, I will go everyday till I drop, other than my wife, Turkey is my life.....
Hopefully it does not effect my season in Florida. It is effecting my personal life, which is not terrible.
We are so spoiled in this country, hopefully it opens some peoples eyes to just how good we have it here in America.
Thanks for the chance.
Nope. Dont see why i should get excited now.
Hopefully it does not affect me. Depends on the future and shut downs but as of now I'm ready to get away from all of this and enjoy the April turkey woods. Thanks Sam as always man!

My place of employment has to stop operations in Pa., but I'm planning on hunting the opener on May,2
Corona hopefully will not affect my season, hunt here in Pa. and up in NY both seasons start May 1st so hopefully between now and then things don't get alot worse.
I may have a whole lot of extra time to turkey hunt.....
dont really know was going to ks and nebraska
I am probably going to be furloughed, so I may sneak down south to hunt a bit more. NH season is 6 weeks away, we should be fine. al
COVID-19 will not affect my season as long as i can help it but King Andrew, the S-bag Guv of NY, may be thinking differently.
Barring a national quarantine that limits my ability to get out there, I'll be there.

Shouldn't hurt my season can ride a bike if I have to. Thanks
It will affect where I hunt. I usually drive a couple hours to hunt unpressured birds on land I know well. I've been starting to lock down some permission closer to where I live to limit travel. I need to get some more lined up, but I'll have to put in some work. (Harder to knock on doors right now too,) It'll be new terrain, new birds for me.
it will eventually affect my season. So far, I managed to kill 2 birds opening weekend. I got the rest of the season to work on #3, but Im working a lot, like 6 days a week. Eventually my job "power plant" will enter the next phase and essential people "myself" will be sequestered to the job, living on site" so I hope to bag #3 before that happens, tough to do with one day off a week. Also I imagine travel bans are coming....I had a big northeast trip planned this year. Maine, new York, Vermont, new Hampshire, mass, conn, and rhode island.....It wasn't planned until May, but I just don't see it happening at this point. I don't think we will have crested by then and I think we could be locked down. Who knows, all I know is I was able to get 2 out of 3 of my local birds so far and for that I am happy. My wife is pregnant , so Im sure all that will greatly be affected by the virus.
It will not affect my season unless someone in the family gets sick.
Barring illness it will not affect my season here in SC.
Well, I spoke too soon. SCDNR just cancelled all the WMA Draw hunts...
I was drawn for a property this year that I had been drawn for 2x and due to unexpected work travel I had to cancel both. It takes about 4 years to get pulled. So now I've got 12 years invested in this deal.
Gonna be awesome if I get to hunt it though!

ER nurse here, probably will be affected to an extent. Hope everyone stays safe out there
if the lodge is open my planned hunt will be on. If its closed I will be hunting around home. Yes I could be affected. Thanks for the invite to win very gracious of you.
NOT.
As far as i know the virus will not affect my season as long as i stay healthy. Work will affect my season though. Working 50-60 hours a week doesnt allow much time for hunting
Should not impact my season as I hunt mostly on private land. I like to take side trips to public land after the first couple weeks tho. Virginia is starting to place restrictions on some WMA and organized hunts. Not sure to what extent yet. I do know all DGIF offices are closed to walk in traffic. Only time will tell the true impact this virus has on the area. Don't have a lot of family to worry about but hope everyone stays safe. If you see me don't ask to shake hands. Developed a real aversion to it in Europe where everyone thinks they have to shake hands for absolutely no reason.
My turkey season should not be affected by the virus.
The virus will not have an effect. Only hunting local and probably not as much as I would like. 2 kids out of school, wife is full time student and full time job as well. Eats up my weekends fast. Gotta make the few hunts count.

I pray that it will not affect my family or anyone in their pursuit of this magnificent creation that God has blessed us with! Put as much effort in staying safe as you will in hunting this Spring!
It wont affect my season unless im dead.
The virus has already cancelled my South Dakota hunt by shutting down the reservation we were planning to hunt.
The only way that there Canolavirus is gonna affect my season is if I catch it.
ps...yes, I know that ain't the right name but thought a little redneck humor was in order.
Coronavirus shouldn't affect my season at all because I already have it and should be all better by then.
Ok, truth be told I haven't been tested yet. I've just got a little cold which I got after being exposed to a friend who likely really does have it. His test results should be back tomorrow. If he's positive then I'll get tested. Either way, no effect on my turkey season.
It won't affect my in state hunting, but I have a feeling my out of state hunt will be shut down. I have a lot of exposure in my line of work, hope I don't get this crap. The company I work for is very reactive instead of proactive in situations like these. Stay safe, everyone.
Corona Virus shouldn't affect my season. Assuming everyone in my family is healthy, it'll be a good way to get my 4 year old out and get some fresh air.

Uncertain at this time, I coach and my son plays competitive soccer and it is all but completely cancelled, which actually opened up opportunities for my son to hunt the youth hunt in Illinois. However, Illinois public lands are shut down, but I have private land, but if we are put on mandatory lock down then I can't travel to my spots. I have permits and I have private land to hunt within 10 miles, but not sure on the travel/quarantine as this goes forward. Fingers crossed.
Locally as of now no change! Out of state hunts may change!
Only if they don't let me leave the state!
If no one in my family, parents and grandparents included, come in contact with the virus I should get plenty of time to hunt. Problem is if the kids are out of school, which I fully believe they will, that will reduce things slightly.
No Wuhan worries here. I will be after em as usual in the morning. Hopefully everyone will stay at least half a mile apart in the woods this season so no one will catch the virus.
No question, it will affect my plans.
As long as they don't shut down state to state travel, I should still be in business.
Has already effected me. Been sick since the 12th, just got out of the HOSPITAL TODAY!!! I was put in QUARANTINE in hospital. BAD VIRAL INFECTION, still don't have C-word test back as 1000s of tests are pending. Big hold up was trying to get all my levels back up, Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Vitamin D. Advised by Doctor, self QUARANTINE at home until appointment April 3rd. So here I am with a gallon ziploc bag of medicine. I am a Turkey fanatic, but this ain't no joke. Weak as a cat. This is REALLY ROUGH.
Huge shout out to Doctors, Nurses, Lab folks, house keeping! They are absolutely working there butts off!!! Thank the good Lord I am home, I smelled bleach and Lysol all week. Just hoping Wife and my 13 year old daughter don't get it!!!
Have a good one
Ray

It will not effect my season unless my wife is called into work at the hospital and has to stay there or if any of my family becomes ill with it.
Who knows? It's going crazy here, and they could shut down nonessential travel. If that happens, I'll be affected.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I hope not.
It don't think it will effect mine here in Northern Indiana.
As long as my family stays healthy it shouldn't effect mine I am only hunting my home state
Won't affect me, I'll walk out the back door and hunt!
I will social distance by being in the woods away from other people!
Coronapanick has wiped out my season due to the Mexico border being closed, and my in country trip likely being cancelled as well. >:(

Well, lets hear the results of that test?
The coronavirus will not effect my season but the lack of turkeys on the land I hunt will.
I hope it does not as I have several out of state trips planned
I'm currently hunting here in FL till next weekend.
We'll see what happens with my Black Hills trip in May, not looking good. Hopefully over by then for ever ones sake!
Delaware opener is April 11 , shouldn't be affected. Pennsy' s is May 2 , hope to climb out of all the gloom and doom.
It will not impede my hunts at all but I do anticipate more people in the woods.
I hope all will be as usual. Hard to tell with all the stuff coming out of C'bus daily.
It will probably help me be in the woods more. TN said it's not closing the woods and it's the perfect place to social distance!
Just made it back from checking Hawaii off the list. Looks like my plans for Vermont will be cancelled if air travel is messed up. Will probably re-attempt to cross off Pennsylvania instead. I gotta do something useful with those scheduled vacation days!
As of now it has only improved since I'm a senior in college and we are remote now. The only negative I for see would be if states close travel and I can't get to SD in May.
Im hoping it doesn't mess with our season but it's uncertain times for sure. Thanks for the giveaway.

When they banned camping at the WMA's in FL they deal me a bad blow. A health issue sealed he deal on that trip.
Hadn't planned on it altering season but my uncle is in the hospital with it as of yesterday.
Have no contact with him at this point!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If public land is open more people will be out hunting and crowding worse than it is now. Shouldn't effect my private land spot too much.
So far it should not affect the season that opens on Apr 11, but a lot can happen between now and then....
It ruined my Texas trip this weekend. The Outfitter cancelled. Still hoping I can kill one around home here in Arkansas in a few weeks.
Hasn't cancelled anything yet, season doesn't open for a couple more weeks.
Winner is buzzardroost
I just called in a Georgia public land gobbler Saturday with a Gooserbat BGS. Big fan, thank you!
