Ain't it the truth , I got the same thing when duck season starts....like "you got any good pins" as Google map locations

Shannon I agree, duck hunters are worse than turkey hunters. We learned quickly to stop posting pics of those full straps of ducks on Facebook. Once guys figure out you know where to kill ducks, the phone starts ringing off the hook.

I've developed a standard answer over the years when someone want's me to take them to a scouted spot and call them a gobbler up by saying let's go hunting. I say sure. Where are you going to take me?
so true

they're the worst type of hunters too because they only see success as killing as much as possible. no love for the sport
Amen, I just say the compendium is loaded with Public spots.......be safe......
It's one thing if it's a good friend of yours who is also a turkey hunter, who also has property to hunt. I have no issue with that, just taking turns calling up a gobbler for the other one. I have a good friend just like that. We never mind each other killing one of our scouted birds on our land, because we always know the favor will be returned. I don't even mind if it's just a very good friend who has no other opportunity. For instance, I'm taking one of my best friends on opening morning who has never killed a turkey with a shotgun. I love the guy like a brother and would love to call in a bird for him. But what kills me are the guys you haven't heard from the rest of the entire year who suddenly call and want to chat. Then they put you on the spot and want to come kill one of the gobblers you worked hard to locate. We look forward to this for months each year, spend tons of money on it, and truly have a love for the bird and the sport. We wake up countless mornings before daylight to scout for roosted birds before season. Burn boot leather looking for sign and birds. Then some jackwagon calls and is offended when you won't call one of your hard earned birds into their lap, just so they can post a hero pic on Facebook and say that "they killed" a turkey. Some folks have no shame.
It's the opposite for me, If I get free time during turkey season I am usually calling guys to go call for!
