I bought a Benelli 20ga for chukar. Gun shoots well and I'm happy with it. I'm contemplating using it for turkeys this year with TSS federal #9s. Don't want to change sight or anything but wondering thoughts on coining up for a choke only to find out the POA and POI are screwy and would need to go optical on a sight. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
My wife's benelli ultra light 20 gauge shoots to the bead with federal #9 tss and a Robert's .570 choke tube. Nice guns
Was thinking about a Sumtoy .562 for it. Good to know a Roberts choke is an option too. I'm not looking for insane numbers, but merely confidence of clean kills at 25-40 yards.
Factory full choke will get you to the range mentioned and if that shoots to bead you are good to go.
I'll try that before dropping money on a choke. It least I can see where things are at before spending money to find out that I need to spend moremoney. Thanks DRN.
