Title: Texas Outfitter recommendation.
Post by: bchilde on March 02, 2020, 02:08:28 PM
Me and a couple of buddies are on the road to complete our grand slam. We were thinking of going after the Rio next in Texas. Could anyone recommend a outfitter to use or to stay away from. Thanks in advance

If you have Facebook get on TEHR. It is a page. Also known as texas exotic hunting reloaded. It will be your best place to find the best deals and where you can locate numerous options. I personally would focus on south Texas (sw of San Antonio), hill county around kerrville/junction, or west central Texas around Robert Lee/Coleman/Ballinger. Those 3 areas are going to be the best populations.

All Seasons Guide Service helped me cross Texas off the super slam journey last March.  In South Texas.  Did self guided and the food and accommodations were four star!  They actually had a real chef, the whole chef outfit and everything, preparing mind blowingly awesome meals and the lodge was as good as it gets!

Flew in/out of San Antonio.
