Hello I'm brand new here and brand new to loading shells.
I'm using 12ga lead load data for 3in Remington hulls but instead of lead I'm using TSS #9. With following the data to a T there is a lot of empty room in the hull from the Size difference in the shot.
What do I do to fix this? I was told not to deviate from any published data but my loads obviously aren't going to work too well with about half the hull empty and I've had no luck finding actual data for TSS.
I would suggest getting in touch with some of the guys that develope loads for tss. It isn't the same animal as lead loads.
Your going to shoot out your eye,
your not following it to a "T" if you substitute TSS for lead
you should have got your tss load data from who you bought your tss shot from.
BPI website has a 12 gauge load listed for tss, don't vary from what's published
