Well fellas, my grandpa has been wanting to drop a turkey lately. I told him I would skip school today and come pick him up and I promised him a bird (Bird roosted). We got in the listening spot at 6 am this morning. He gobbled his HEAD OFF on the roost. He flew down at 8, which is odd. Simple as it sounds, he strutted on up to our decoys and calls and BOOM! Dead. Grandpa's old Winchester 3.5 2oz 4s flattened him at 30! He weighed 23 pounds, 7/8 spurs on left, 1 inch on right. 9 3/4 beard, mind as well call it a 10 inch beard  And guys on my team, I been trying to score for myself, but my grandpa comes first. Ill just tell you now, we roosted another big boy this evening. (http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad208/mossybird_95/IMG_0001-1.jpg)
