A bird that has in the past twenty years have become very common daily in Central MN. Take it from someone who has battled with them over the years because I had a wildlife removal business. Becareful if you have a cedar sided house or big wood softies. If so them pounding on your house to make territorial drumming sounds, or looking for insects becomes bad quickly. They can chunk out a hole very quickly, so they are neat to see just hope they stay to the woods where they belong.

Thanks for the video! I too feed birds, but the weather this year has been so crazy in eastern N.C. they have really been spotty. All my woodpeckers love those suet cakes!
