Where's Waldo???? I spy something amongst the cypress trees. As the sun came up yesterday morning the birds began to gobble. The full moon started to set and I noticed a lone gobbler still on his roost from the night before. I snapped off a few pictures in the predawn light. I had hoped he would stay on the roost and either get to full strut or wait until the moon set behind him but he obviously didn't read the script. This picture was taken just seconds before he flew down to meet up with his ladies.

Still very cool, thanks
Great pic! It would have been awesome to get him puffed with that moon behind him.
So they are already gobbling down there?
Good pic
Nice pic. Looks lonesome.

Ya it would have been. I was hoping. No dice though. Ya they are gobbling. I heard probably 50 gobbles yesterday from 4 different gobblers. 19 days until youth season down here.

Haha. Only while he was in the tree. He met up with his ladies shortly after this was taken.
