Does anyone know how i can get in touch with Mr Curtis Wilbanks aka Gun Docc
I sent him a savage 220a in may of 2019 along with half of the cost of the work he agreed
on have tried repeatedly to contact him with no luck any info would be apriciated thank you

His cell is listed as 706 244 0110!

I wish you luck with him. I am from Georgia and a daily reader of the GON Forum.

It is full of contradictions on him. Some folks waited 4 years to get their guns back and at the same time people are reporting they sent three guns and got them back in a few weeks.

I think he is quite old and both he and his wife have medical issues. Everyone says he does really good work and you can take a gun to him and he will fix it while you wait and other work lays on the bench for years!
I also hear it is near impossible to get in touch with him and I hope it works out for you!

Thanks for reply yes i have his phone numbers.And i received a email form him today
he said gun was almost done.i would like to take him at his word have heard he did really
good work thats why i sent shotgun to him did not know about issues other people were
having.i will keep everyone updated

This is a very common thread topic on the old gun doc.

Anyone that takes guns in for repairs in person and by shipping should issue a number and generally make repairs and returns in the order received.  The availability of parts and need to further confer about issues and proposed repairs will affect that, but no one should wait for years if there is no parts availability issue.
