Title: Anyone from/hunt northern West Virginia???
Post by: mullet dredge on January 23, 2020, 09:00:53 AM
Anyone on here from the northern panhandle area of West Virginia, particularly south of Wheeling? My non-hunting in-laws have some sizeable properties up that way and I have some general questions about the area.

PM's are cool....Thanks in advance!

Hunted deer there.  Never turkeys.

Seems like it could be a frustrating place to get on a gobbling bird.  Where I hunted deer, the ravines were so stinkin steep ....... !!!   Narrow...........but STRAIGHT DOWN in and STRAIGHT UP out !!!!!!!

Those birds up there will fly to you.  Had it happen multiple times.  From way off.
