Title: Browning BPS
Post by: jwm1485 on January 19, 2020, 11:41:46 PM
Im looking to set my browning BPS invector + 26" up with a new choke. Any suggestions of which one would work good with it? Im not looking for something ridiculously tight that its like shooting a rifle. I was thinking a indian creek or carlson.
thanks

Im not 100% sure yet. Im going to try some long beards and some other shells to see what shoots best. I guess i would be looking for recommendations what shell to try and pair with the choke too.

Message William Lambert at Sumtoy Customs and tell him what you have and ask him what choke he suggest for your gun ...  He has Facebook page ...

I used to have a 26" BPS. I used an Indian Creek. It liked 3" hevi-blends.

Thanks for the replies. The one thing I don't want is to be too tight at close range.

I like my Jebs.  I also shoot a .665 instead of the tighter constrictions.  It will kill as far as I need to shoot and is a little more forgiving up close.

Jebs or IC at .665 might be a good place to start...

.660 might be good too...

I've been using a Browning BPS 26" for many years with a Kicks .665 I believe and it's a turkey slayer.
