Heading to the show this year for the first time and wanted to know if they have a lot of "show specials" you can buy on sight. Looking at possibly buying a new gun and sight as my retirement gift to myself.
Looking at either the Mossy 835 or 930; not sure I need 3.5" loads or not but I do want a pistol grip stock. Also looking at a reflex sight, probably a Vortex Venom.

The NWTF show is really nice in my opinion, but you will have some that don't like the show because it has such a broad list of vendor's , not so much related to hunting ... vendor table prices are extremely high and they will charge you extra just for elect outlet etc... that being said , you will have some vendors with sight's and gun display's ... my suggestion Go to the NWTF website for the show and see the vendor layout and who's has booth for what your looking for.... hanging from the ceiling are letters or numbers that help you find you booth from the floor layout ....
There are typically quite a few show specials that are run by different companies, but I'm not sure that you can purchase a gun at the event.
Firearms are not for sale there.
Show specials are to be found at almost every booth. For instance booth 1713 will have some really good deals.????
I went last year, and while I didn't really look at the guns much, all the big names will have a booth there. Maybe they have coupons or something?
Certainly you will be able to look over different models and help you decide on one.
You're going to enjoy it. Take time to go to some calling competitions, I missed most of 'em and I regret that.
