Post by: WiLL B on May 07, 2011, 06:37:53 PM
The season is closed here in MS but I want to go on another hunt. I am thinking about Kansas. Have any of you been hunting on Kansas public this year, if so how was it? I went to a mamagement area 8 years ago and it was good but reports since then by my friends are bad. It was in souteast KS.

SE KS has had awful hatches due to floods.  I would go somewhere in N Ks or in NE

I been hearing SE Kansas has suffered badly because of all the rain. It was really good 8 years ago I sure wish it still was!

We hunted SE KS for about six years and just hammered them.  Have not been back in a couple of years due to the bad hatches.  Got a buddy that hunted there this weekend with his son.  Have not heard from him since Friday but he did not hear a gobble all day.  Called in three jakes.
