Title: Struck Gold

I walked into a random gun shop about an hour and a half away from my house and you wouldn't believe it, but a practically brand new looking NWTF model 1300 was sitting on the used gun rack. I about shed a tear as I have been looking for one of these locally for about five years. They were asking $400, and I put a $250 deposit down on it (didn't want to drop that much cash at one time without letting my wife know first). All I can say is that I am super excited.

Congrats Southpaw. I just found one a month ago  I haven't shot it yet but looking forward to hunting with it this spring. I called Winchester and give them the serial number and it was made in the 80's. Please share some pictures when you pick it up. Jeff

Actually, she's in the loop these days. After a horrible mistake on my end, transparency has become much easier in my world. She knows everything going on in my life and exactly what's what. Life's easier that way and things have never been better. Just saying.

Congrats on the purchase though.
