Sorry to hear of his passing.
Ah that's too bad. He was a great guy. Prayers for the family
I lost a good friend. Someone that I was blessed to hunt with a few times. I learned much about turkey calls from Rickey. Rest now my friend. I'm sure that you and AuggieDog Bruce will be sitting on the ridge up there in the morning. Long beards and long spurs my friend.
Rickey went by Hunter22. I'm sure that most of you remember him posting his calls. You may not have known the name.
I hate to hear that. I didn't know the man but have heard nothing but good things about him. Prayers for all involved.
Very sad to hear, prayers for his family and friends.
Very saddened to hear this news........
Rest in peace, Mr. Rickey.
Rest in Peace.
He was a fighter for sure, not a drop of quit in him! Loved, loved, loved the sport of turkey hunting and turkey call collecting. RIP ole buddy. Prayers for your family.
sad indeed!
His family said instead of sending flowers send donations to St Judes. I have no idea how to start one of those accounts but was thinking it would be pretty cool to start something and donate the proceeds to St Judes from his turkey hunting brothers in his honor.
Ricky was a stand up guy. Was blessed to have known him for the last ten years or so. I enjoyed many conversations on this board where I met him the first time. Im sad he is gone but rejoice that his suffering is now over.

I am proud to have called Rickey a friend. I will miss talking to him. I am glad that all of his pain and suffering is over. Cancer is a terrible disease that I would not wish on my worst enemy. God speed my friend.
RIP Rickey.....
Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
This site will not be the same without him.
Sorry to hear. Always enjoyed what he shared.
My condolences to you and all of his family and friends
I'm sorry to hear this. I never met him but enjoyed his posts. Prayers for the family.
Rickey was a good man that loved everything about the wild turkey, the calls, the hunting. everything. He will be truly missed but his memory will live long with all those that knew him. RIP and see you some day on that ridge top.
Rickey was one of the first on this Forum I made friends with. If you had a question about turkeys
calls, he had the answer. I spent many an hour conversing with him on the phone.
He made me 5 strikers by hand, with a pocketknife and sandpaper, that run as good as any.
RIP my friend, and the memory and footprint you left behind, will live on forever. God Speed....
Sorry to hear, may he hear a goobbler up yonder. Peace to him, may he be singing praises to the Lamb. :bible:
