Not turkey related but if you would like to read a factual book on the Iraq war and the road to taking Baghdad from an M1A1 Tank Battalions (2nd tanks B. Company) perspective, this is as good as it gets. I served with the author SSGT Arron Grant and can say this is a very accurate representation of what all of my fellow Marines went through.
It can be purchased for just under $12 on Amazon. I will say that I am mentioned in the book but I am receiving no compensation (don't want people to think I am on here just trying to sell a book and make money for myself or a friend). Just thought some on here might be interested. Hopefully you will enjoy it.

I'll give it a read. Though I didn't serve in the military I like reading real acounts from people who were there and hearing their prospective on things.
