Anyone seen the new HEVI 18 TSS loads from Hevi-Shot? Looks like they're gonna have 12, 20, and .410 loads in #7s and #9s.
Interesting ...
I think their reputation of changing components will hurt them for a while.
I figured they would join the rest. It was only a matter of time. More options is good.

I'm all over it!!!
Competition is great. Hopefully this will bring prices down.
Or make them go up for those that hand load???

They will be the best load ever, then when everyone switches they will try to cheap out the load with some kind of generic buffer and they will be junk

That made my morning thank you.
Will be staying with my hand loads. Less expensive, better quality control, bigger payload and more rewarding.
Think I'll just stick with Apex..and when I want to shoot lead I like the federal grand slams
Sticking to my handloads
I know people like to pick on them for changing components and varying levels of pellet counts but I never personally had an issue with them. They killed turkeys all day long for me. As long as things were kept reasonable were a really good shell. Now if I was a hole counter or was into shooting long range my opinion may be different. I still have 8 or 10 boxes of them. Might have to break them out and try to cut down on the stockpile.
I love Hevi. Just wish they were a bit cheaper. My gun shot them better than 4 or 5 other popular loads. I killed my biggest bird at 60 yards, and deader than a door nail.

Agree. No intention of switching back though I'm sure they will awesome shells
I"ll probably try them if the price is right. I killed a lot of turkeys with heavy 13 never had a problem. I use federal tungsten now.

Good one Donald. I saw a post back in June from Hevi-Shot on Instagram about this, the more the merrier. Doubt it will drive down prices though, it didn't when other companies started loading Hevi 13 like loads way back when. Tungsten is a pricey metal.

Has nothing to do with counting holes or sniping turkeys and everything to do with terrible quality control while driving up the price.
