Think this is my first post, mostly been hanging out learning. This is a little video from my opening morning hunt, or should I say from after. First thing I had two Toms walk out of the woods to my right where they had in all my scouting trips so I thought all I had to do was pick my spot, and my bird. What followed can only be described as chaos as both birds proceeded to put the spurs to my jake decoy over the submissive hen. They finally separated enough for a single kill shot and I took the bird on the right. Tom number 2 never even let up hammering on the decoy and I got some video and pictures for the next hour until a brush wolf headed across the field and put the birds back into the woods. Don't know if I picked the biggest bird but had I shot the other, I may not have had the privilege to see the show that followed. Bird was just shy of 20lbs with a 10.5 inch beard and 3/4 spurs.

I'm guessing that is your dead bird behind the jake?
That bad boy was going straight for the eyes and wasn't letting up.

Congrats on a nice bird. Great video and I would say the one you shot is a twin with the pecker you let walk due to the spurs that I saw in the video.... Oh yea, :welcomeOG:
