I mentioned this one in another thread with a couple mounts but had no pics. Several folks asked to see..........
Not the best pics. But the post is from my property and is likely over 100 years old. The bird is a Nebraska Merriam's and is "hung" on the post with a length of rawhide around a leg. The mount will either free-stand on the base OR hang on a wall.

I've always liked those mounts.
Very nice, always liked that mount. One of the Morris boys had one years ago in their shop hanging off a hand pump with some morning glories. Never forgot it.
