I haven't turned a Genuine Lignum Vitae in many months, so on a whim this morning I decided it was time to build another one. This one turned out to be a cool piece of LV with the dark and light transition areas.....good grain as well for Lignum Vitae. I do love a Lignum Vitae trumpet, they have a sound/tone all to their own.

Thanks, it is a cool piece of wood for sure. I still like to use HSS tools over carbide cutters, so yeah, I sharpen them a bunch over the course of one LV trumpet.
My goodness that's pretty!
(Hey Terry - BUY it!)
Beautiful, my favorite wood.
As always a fine looking call.
That's a nice one, I love that wood
You sure make some sharp looking trumpets.

I appreciate that Rzrbac, sure is a lot of fun for me to build them too. I am really enjoying playing this LV, more of this wood to come for sure.
Greg, another beautiful trumpet. Would like to hear that LV! If you have a sound file of that wood, please post or send!
