Title: Nebraska bound
Post by: Matt on May 25, 2019, 10:29:29 AM
I woke up this morning and decided I haven't quite had enough for the year.  With pretty much no planning I loaded up the truck and started driving west.  I really don't have a plan but I'll figure something out. I've got until Tuesday (maybe Wednesday)to kill a bird or two.  Wish me luck and any advise is much appreciated.

So envious, my seasons long over. I was out looking for sheds today wishing I was hunting turkey instead. Good luck!

Goodluck man. I pretty much did the same going to Missouri. Killed a bird and had a great time. Will be going back next year.

Did exactly what you did leaving Kansas City. Got one within a couple hours on Friday afternoon and should've been done at first light Saturday morning. Since then been a real struggle for me.

It was tough hunting, I was just really lucky. Came from St. Louis area myself. Not much gobbling compared to 2 weekends ago. Both of my birds I had to ambush. Buddy who came with me missed twice and didn't tag a bird.

Dang I live in Columbia right off I-70 ya could have stopped by and picked me up. I would have been more than happy to ride in the back of the truck.
