Headed over to Vermont this evening, did a little sight seeing on the way. Lots of history in this area. Wife and I are really enjoying our 25th anniversary trip. Hunting in the morning, looks like it's gonna be a good one weather wise. I'll keep y'all posted.

Was in the game all morning but no dice. Finally made my way up the bluff to his strut zone where he had been gobbling back and forth all morning, was crawling trying to get 10 more yards and looked up and saw his hen feeding in the hardwoods. Finally fflr to my tree without busting her out of there and I never heard him again. Maybe he saw me I'm not sure but it was a last ditch attempt as time was running out.. 12 noon cut off in Vermont. Try again tomor.
